I use physics and computer science to make sense of the world. But a purely left-brained life gets thin. So I keep feeding it right-brain openness: images, symbols, play, the things that refuse to resolve into an equation.
Sigil making is one of those things.
What does it actually mean to charge a sigil? Not in theory — in your Tuesday. What would have to happen for a shape you drew to quietly bend how you act for the rest of the day?
The traditional answers run from the grotesque to the completely innocent. Neither is the only way in.
Sigil Driver is another way in. Instead of staring at the sigil, you take the first-person seat and drive it — every crook, every cranny, from the inside. Attention has to go somewhere. Here it goes down the road you drew.
Make no mistake: the unconscious is already being written on. Branding and logos have been exploiting it at scale for a century, and most people never agreed to it and never noticed. I think everyone has the right to choose what they point themselves at.
That is why this is built the way it is. I believe in privacy, in sovereignty, in freedom of expression and speech. Sigil Driver runs entirely on your machine: no account, nothing watching what you write, and no analytics beyond the anonymous tally below.
Privacy is a basic right, and counting visits does not need to touch it. The only analytics here is AGA, Anonymous GDPR Analytics: on a day you use Sigil Driver, a tally tells Liaison, the studio's own feedback service, that a browser opened it and which steps it reached (sealing an intention, finishing a drive). Each is sent at most once a day, with the date, the platform and the app version. The tally shows us where to serve you better.
A count carries no account, no name, no device id and no cookie, and Liaison does not keep your IP address. Your intentions, your sigils and your times are never in it.
If your browser sends Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track, nothing is sent. You can also switch it off for this browser in Settings.
To count its own use, this browser keeps a few dates in local storage under liaison:* (your first and latest visit, and the steps you have reached). That record never leaves the device.
This reaches me and nobody else. If it is about a run that went wrong, say which browser and what you were driving — it saves a round trip.
